My name is Amy and I would like to share a story with you. Like many parents, I had looked forward to that special day for my child. For some it is sweet sixteen, others a 21st birthday or perhaps a marriage. For me, it was my son's college graduation. I had planned for years the gift of a new car. I was to give this gift at a graduation party with all our friends and family. I was very excited. When I picked up the car, I asked the dealer if they had one of those big bows often seen in movies. I was told that they once had an older woman in the area who made them but that she had passed on. They had no idea as to where to find one.

Well, I went to the local party store but came home without a bow. I searched the internet only to find a rubbery/plastic type bow with only a few loops. It was not very pretty and I needed to assemble it to boot. Well, the gift of a brand new car was a big deal for me, a middle-class mom, so I used my talents and set out to make a big bow. Well, after 3 days and a lot of wasted ribbon, I finally had my bow. Boy, I wish I could have just purchased it.

Let me tell you, the work of making the bow was worth it. This was like the icing on the cake. To say the least, the bow was a hit. It was a perfect day and my son was a very happy young man.

Over the years, several people have asked me to make giant bows for their special gifts. Not one to let down my friends and family, I became quite the bow craftswoman. I made bows not only for cars but also for a motorcycle, a boat and even a horse. Needless to say I took the next step and now provide my big bows to many people through my business.
